What do our users think16.12.2009 by Mr Bakos from South Africa - 5/5- Brookeside House was fantastic, beautiful surroundings and total relaxation. Our room was cosy, clean and well stocked with all amenities. We really enjoyed our stay, and we will be returning in the not to distant future. 16.12.2009 by Mr Mong from South Africa - 5/5- The room was modern, spacious and extremely clean. It offers a sliding door leading to a balcony with lovely views. A bonus was that even though you feel like you are surrounded with nature, you are also walking distance to everything in town. 16.12.2009 by Mr McDonald from S - We had a lovely stay, the rooms are spotless and decorated very nicely. Great place to stay! 16.12.2009 by Ms Smit from South Africa - 5/5- Brookeside House offers all the comforts of home plus additional luxuries. The room was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and private. Everything was thought of, down to the smallest detail. I will certainly return and can definitely highly recommend. 16.12.2009 by Mrs Steyn from S - Upon our arrival at the Brookside House, we received a warm welcome from our hosts. The surroundings were lovely and our hosts were very gracious. The room was splendidly decorated and everything was well organised. We loved the little bottle of sherry. A very helpful tool was the folder with the menu's from all the surrounding restaurants and coffee shops. We found a menu we liked and took a moonlight stroll to the restaurant. In the morning, after having a great rest and being woken by a "piet-my-vrou" singing praises to the lovely mountains, we had breakfast and continued our journey, refreshed and happy. Our stay was marvellous and we will undoubtedly head back there soon! 24.07.2009 by Mrs de Klerk from SA - 5/5- Accommodation at Brookeside is superb and spotless, crisp quality linen and the decor is very elegant. Touches like fresh rusks daily and a heated room on arrival are the most memorable. Would highly recommend Brookeside House and we will definately be returning soon. 24.07.2009 by Mrs Meistre from SA - 5/5- My husband and I found a home away from home, a friendly host and great restaurants all around .. just what one needs to break aay from the made pace in Johannesburg. Brookeside offered us a warm, very neat and tidy, everthing you need, place to unwind and rejuvenate! All of this with privacy to boot. Well done to our hosts, you have an establishment to be proud of and one which I would not hesitate to recommend. 27.01.2009 by Kaolaklovers from Johannesburg, South Africa - 5/5- Trip Advisor: Kaolaklovers Johannesburg 19 November 2007 Please do yourself a favour. If you ever visit Clarens in South Africa (well worth it in its own right!) make sure to stay at Brookeside House. Maryna the hostess has established an exquisite four star guesthouse. It is spotlessly clean, luxurious and is the epitomy of attention to detail. Thank you Maryna – Brookeside has quickly become our favourite retreat. Stunning! And just a few steps from the centre of town
