Attractions

On our doorstep are squash and tennis courts and the start of a couple of hiking trails. Visitors have a wide variety of activities available such as golf, tennis, squash, hiking, mountain biking, etc. For the more adventurous there are a host of exciting outdoor activities which include quad-biking, abseiling, horse-riding, white water rafting, etc. Also an ideal stop-over for the newly established ski resort in Lesotho - only an hour and a half from Clarens

Facilities

The rooms are tastefully decorated, well appointed, fully-serviced and offer home from home comfort. There are three rooms with separate entrances. All rooms have electric blankets, under-carpet heating, under-tile heating in bathrooms, fridges and tea and coffee making facilities. The Rose Room has a double bed with an en-suite bathroom with corner bath and shower. In addition, is a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, hot plate, kettle, toaster and tea and coffee making facilities. The Blue Room is exactly the same as the Rose Room but has two extra length twin beds. Down duvets and sherry are sure to keep away those winter chills! The Feather Room which is upstairs (with a separate entrance) caters for Bed & Breakfast only. A sunny north-facing room with French doors leading onto a large balcony with magnificent mountain views. En-suite bathroom with shower and wall heater, Full English breakfasts are provided.

Directions

Coming from Bethlehem or Golden Gate turn into the Main street of Clarens. Turn immediately right into Sias Oosthuizen Street (before the dam and see Millpond sign). Next left into Cilliers Street. Millpond House is number 468 on the right hand side.
